How to change the legal address and what is needed for this?

To resolve this issue, you first need to determine what a legal address is. There is no such concept in the official legislation of Ukraine, there is the actual location of the enterprise. This is the place where the company mainly carries out financial and economic activities. You can also often find the concept of a tax address. In fact, they are all the same.

Procedure:

  1. A lease or sublease agreement for premises is concluded;
  2. The founders’ council decides to change the office;
  3. A new charter is being prepared in duplicate (but this is in cases where the company’s location is spelled out in the charter);
  4. The registration card of the established form is filled in;
  5. New information about the company is entered into the USR.

Important! The above package must be certified by a notary signature and seal. Otherwise, the papers will not be accepted at the administrative services center of the district or city.

What documents are needed to change the legal address?

This process is relatively simple, but there are several points to pay attention to and carefully study the changes in regulations that are constantly rewritten to please the European reforms.

  • Card indicating the old and new legal address where the company will be located;
  • Application to the tax office for obtaining a new statement of the payer of VAT or single tax.

How to change the legal address and move to another city?

Here the procedure is the same, but amendments to the unified state register of enterprises and organizations are carried out at the place of registration. For example, if the institution is located in Kyiv, but decided to move to Mariupol, then the new data on the move is carried out in Kyiv. The situation is different with the STI.

It is recommended to proceed as follows:

  1. Notify the current STS that you will be moving to another area;
  2. Send a letter to the tax office of the new city stating that after a while you will register with them;
  3. In advance, conclude a lease agreement for the premises in order to confirm your actual presence in the event of a check on the new virtual office.

From the point of view of legislation, these actions are not provided for and are considered redundant and inappropriate. But do not forget about the bias of the fiscal service towards payers and still take the necessary steps to avoid unpleasant consequences in the form of blocking invoices.
