Submitting tax reports when changing your legal address?
In Ukraine, the process of changing a legal address is associated with a change in details and, as a result, requires appropriate notification to the tax authorities. Typically, this process includes the following steps:
- Changing the legal address in the company documents: Update the company’s constituent documents with the new legal address;
- Filling out the notification of the tax authority: Fill out form No. 1-RG, this is a tax notification of changes to the register of tax obligations (Tax Notification) in two copies. The form is available on the website of the State Tax Service of Ukraine;
- Submitting documents to the tax service: Submit two copies of completed form No. 1-RG to the tax office at the place of registration of the enterprise. This must be done within 10 working days from the date of amendments to the constituent documents;
- Receiving notification of changes: After submitting the notification and documents to the tax office, expect to receive notification of changes in the register of taxpayers;
- Register update: After receiving notification of changes, make sure that your company’s legal address information is updated in the taxpayer register.
It is important to note that if the legal address changes, the company may also require updates in other authorities and registers, such as the State Register of Legal Entities.
