How a registered letter is different from a simple one?

The realities of Ukrainian business are such that they often have to interact with government agencies on any, even minor issues. And even though now the twenty-first century is in the courtyard, and we live in the era of Internet technologies, the tradition of ink writing still remains. This means you need to conduct official correspondence through paper mail, which takes a lot of effort, time and to some extent the money spent not only on the purchase of stamps, envelopes, paper, but also on the office.

How does a registered letter differ from a simple one?

There are several types of mail, which are enshrined in the legislation of Ukraine, decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers, namely:

  1. Normal,
  2. Recommended
  3. With notice,
  4. Valuable
  5. Courier,
  6. Parcel,
  7. Sending.

If you ask the mail carrier how these concepts differ from each other, then you will be told that only at the cost and responsibility of delivery is because the procedure for processing all this is the same, only the letters on the barcode are different.

A simple letter, a regular one – is sent to the organization without direct interaction with the post office. Glue the required number of characters, rushes into a special box and the subsequent fate of sending is unknown, since your actions were not where they were recorded. In this way, they send insignificant notifications, purely for informative purposes.

Custom, correctly recommended – here the procedure is a bit more complicated and expensive. You pack a text document, give it to the operator through a window, which gives it a barcode marked “R” and in return you receive a cash voucher. Also, all information is entered on the UA POST website, through which you can track the location of the shipment and find out whether the addressee received it, who in turn must sign the postman’s receipt.

If the simple or custom is not taken away because the house was specified incorrectly, then what you sent will return to the location you indicated on the envelope. Recently, it has become possible to send letters without specifying a return address, in which cases the papers will be stored on the branch for one month after which they are disposed of!
